Privacy Policy
STRAT Studios, operated by Julij Rape and based in Slovenia, respects your privacy. This page explains what information gets collected through this site, why, and what say you have over it.
What gets collected
Four sources: the contact form and email signup on this site (name and email address, plus anything you write in a message); scheduling a call through Calendly (name, email, and the time you pick); basic, anonymized site analytics that come with hosting on Framer; and the tracking described under Cookies below: Meta’s pixel, Microsoft Clarity, and our own cookieless count of which plugins get clicked.
How it’s used
Contact details are used strictly to respond to your message, schedule and hold a call, and deliver whatever project you’ve hired STRAT Studios for. Framer’s analytics and Microsoft Clarity show what’s working on the site: we look at visits, heatmaps and session replays to improve pages, not to identify you. Meta’s pixel, which UK and EU visitors only get if they click Allow, measures which of our ads lead to visits and purchases, and Meta uses that to show our ads to people more likely to be interested. Nothing collected here is sold or rented.
Third parties
These services handle data on STRAT Studios’ behalf: Calendly, for scheduling calls; Framer, which hosts this site and its forms; Meta, whose pixel measures our ads; Microsoft, which runs Clarity; Gumroad, which handles purchases; and Railway, which hosts our own count of plugin clicks. Each processes data under its own privacy policy, worth a read if you want the full technical detail.
How long it’s kept
Contact and project information is kept for as long as it’s relevant to the business relationship, plus whatever period Slovenian tax and accounting law requires records to be retained. After that, it’s deleted.
Microsoft Clarity keeps session replays for 30 days, and heatmaps, click data and any replays we save for 13 months, then deletes them. Meta keeps pixel data, and Framer its anonymized analytics, under their own privacy policies. Our own count of plugin clicks holds no cookies, IP addresses or emails, so it can’t be tied to you; it’s kept as long as it’s useful for comparing pages.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask to see what’s held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email julijrape@stratstudios.co and it’ll be handled directly, no ticket system, no runaround.
Cookies
This site uses Meta’s pixel to see which of our ads work. It sets Meta cookies and sends page visits and clicks to Meta. Visitors in the UK and EU are asked first, and nothing goes to Meta unless they click Allow; browsers that send Global Privacy Control are never tracked. We also keep our own count of which plugins get clicked, with no cookies, IP addresses or emails. Purchases happen on Gumroad, which runs the same pixel under its own privacy policy.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site. It records clicks, scrolling and how you move through pages, which we look at as heatmaps and session replays. In the UK and EU, Clarity only sets its cookies after you click Allow; until then, or if your browser sends Global Privacy Control, it runs without cookies and can’t link one visit to the next. Microsoft runs Clarity under its own privacy statement. Apart from that, the site only uses the cookies Framer’s hosting and Calendly’s scheduling widget need.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted here. Continuing to use the site after a change means you’re fine with the new version.
